Oh man, where to start. This piece was the most fun I\'ve ever done. The idea of doing 2 separate pieces is something that I love and will be doing much more of. The modular feel is something that I feel will work really well with my work.
The stains, the numbering, the stripes, I feel this piece came together really well for me. I want to start doing more of that kind of stain work. This piece was inspired by some of the woodblock prints I have been studying from Japan. This image was photoshopped alot and was made from 5 different photographs, btw, so don't jump on me for that. I kinda like playing around before I start cutting.
The idea behind this piece is the fact that crappy construction housing is creeping upon every little aspect of our lives. Luxury Hotels next to ancient monuments. Kinda sad really. Anyway, let me know what you think.
hey man, here you go: - the background is amazing, I love the yellow brown. is that wood, or did you do something with it. -kudos for the amount of detail. I have no idea how you have this amount of patience to crank out this amazing piece. -for the theme. it is not my style. It looks like a foto, which is both food and not so good. but that is just me so 2/3 -> fav and thanks for sharing
When I saw this I started flippin out. Hot concept with the modules. I didn't even notice that it was one pic until I had been looking for like 7 seconds. Crazy good work man. The bridges in the deep black parts on the houses are a bit bothersome though.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
